The U20 series of OEM modules are compact, USB Single Finger Capture Devices that capture highly
accurate, high quality fingerprint images. All models in the U20 series are certified as meeting or
exceeding minimum FBI interoperability standards that ensure high quality images under the PIV-
071006 standard established by NIST. Specifically, they are certified for use in PIV, FAP 20 Mobile ID,
and Aadhaar programs. While the U20 and U20-A models use a glass prism, the U20-AP features a
lightweight plastic prism that allows for cost-effective implementations.
